I’ve always enjoyed writing and reading (with a coffee in hand) and eventually did my degree in English Language. This led me into pursuing my career in editing (perfect for a grammar Nazi like me).
I found yoga in 2015 when working in a busy city caught up with me and presented itself in freak-outs of sorts. I threw myself into the world of yoga and meditation and thought to myself why haven’t I been doing this my entire life?
One year in, and I trained as a yoga teacher (alongside my full-time editorial job) to learn more about the practice, meet like-minded people and to hopefully one day teach. Now, I am eager to learn more, and share my journey with others.
I am living proof that you don’t have to quit your day job and jet off to the Himalayas to find peace and contentment. You can find these moments throughout your day and live a life of balance no matter who you are or what you do for a living!
